This item came without any instructions or safety warnings. e.g. It cannot be used in a ventless fireplace which is what I have.

I called the company and the person on the phone was not very helpful. However, someone followed up my inquiries and then I received several e-mails and help. Was offered a refund and a product that I could use was suggested. I am going to order again from this company because after an initial hiccup, they were very concerned and helpful.

Looks like it would be a big bag, but is really small. Only covers half of our fire area. Looks good though.

This did the trick. Our embers for the gas logs got thrown out when we had some work done. The additional embers from this bag filled in the void around the gas logs and created a nice warm glow when turned on.
