I hafe used these before but the store I bought them at doesn't carry them anymore. Was excited to find them. These are larger than the ones I used before but it only takes one to start a fire.

These are by far the best little fire starters I have ever used. They beat the larger blocks hands down. We live in a rural area and frequently have fallen trees to burn. Once you lite one of these little guys, it is all that is needed to get the fire going.

A helpful camper in Vermont showed up about the "Zip Firestarters". We were having problems getting our campfire going because the wood was a little damp. He came up, said he had the solution and popped a little rectangle piece of something into our struggling fire. Amazing, the fire started blazing and we had no more problems. The fellow camper was from Canada and he had bought the Zip Firestarters at Walmart in Canada. He gave us 4 more of the little plastic wrapped pieces of whatever and we never had a problem with starting a fire. These are not the same thing, but are made by the same company and hopefully will do the same trick. I am happy that Amazon had these. We haven't tried them out yet, but will be shortly as we are leaving on our RV trip. I will update the results then. But, if these do perform the same, I will be very happy. I tried everything to get the exact product, but no luck, guess I'll have to go to Canada! Again, if these work and I'll soon know, then I'll be a happy camper. (Pun intended)
