This chimney cap functions perfectly, fit well, and looks good too. It is kind of expensive but I expect many more years of service from it and the convenience of being able to shut off the chimney from the fireplace is awesome. I've used it one winter already and I'm well satisfied with this purchase. It saves money year round by stopping air flow thru the chimney and in the winter it saves wood by slowing the fire.

Overall it is a nice trap. The problem I had was the weight of the groundhog caused the metal to bend which caused a gap between door and rest of trap.
