The part was correct for my GE dryer model DBXR453ET3WW. No issues with the condition, fit or function. The dryer was just getting warm, and the timed dry hadn't worked properly in quit awhile, now, the dryer works better than it has in years, and the timed dry works properly.

This kit works good. much better price than replacing the whole heater pan assy $160. Installation was easy. took 3hrs all together to replace heating element and replaced drum belt while I had it apart. I had to take a star away because it came with 6 element holders and the dryer requires 11, so I had to replace the worst or cracked holders.

Replacing the heating element is a little tricky but it is definitely less expensive than replacing entire housing unit. Glad this option was available.
