I'm inclined to doubt that this weighs only three pounds. It's HUGE and quite heavy. I suppose in some circumstances, that would be called for; sadly, it's overkill for my house. It's much too heavy to install in the place I had intended it for. The size isn't the item's fault, though a low weight listing is.

And it ships with these two tiny little screws. Laughably tiny. By the time you hang anything from this hook, they will completely rip out of anything screw them into. That alone makes this a bad buy -anyone trying to use this with those screws is in for a bad time.

If you need a gigantic metal hook with serious presence, and know how to mount something big and heavy at angles, then go for it. If you want to hang a planter on your back porch, bring your engineering degree. And more significant hardware.

Item is just as described. It is large and heavy duty. As previous reviewer mentioned, accompanying hardware is insufficient to hold weight of hanger. I used Molly bolts and all is well. I'm happy!

This product looks great and seems very sturdy. I am not sure if the screws that came with it will hold the bracket and a heavy basket (the bracket is quiet heavy its self) but my husband says it should be fine.

This bracket hanger is made very well and is a beautiful hanger for flower baskets. It's big enough to keep your flower baskets away from the wall or post you are hanging them from. I enjoy hanging large flower baskets so it is perfect for doing so and it is a very nice looking bracket. I'm very pleased with this purchase.
