I really like these lights. They flicker very nicely and will look awesome on the tree or window ledge. I purchased a string of these flickering lights to wrap around some logs in my fireplace, creating a faux-crackling-fire look. The end result is awesome, and I'm so pleased with how they look. But this didn't come without some casualties... two of the bulbs smashed while I was working them around the logs. These aren't something you'll want to move around a lot -just get them where you want them and leave them be, and they'll look great. I can't comment on longevity / burn-out rate, because I've only had them for a few months and don't plug them in all that often. One more thing -each bulb is probably a foot or more away from the next, so it's difficult to get a "clustered" look... but not impossible. All in all a cool product.

I needed additional heating in my bedroom and this fit in the existing old fireplace perfectly! I was so excited because it looked so nice and couldn't wait to plug it in and get it going. Then, as we attempted to use the remote, or find control panels on this Yosemite model, we resorted to the instruction manual. The manual did not even match the heater. The remote described in the manual was not the remote with the unit. The control panel described in the manual was not on the heater, nor was there any control panel. Then I found white tape over a certain section of the manual. I held it up to the window to be able to read through it and it was the name of a company in China that made the heater and the directions to the street and building where it was manufactured. Someone had tried to hide that! There was an on/off button, that's all. We couldn't even get it to turn on! I feel like this was the same deal as the individual that bought a Coach purse at a "deal" online, and it was a fake made in China. Except this heater was expensive, and I believe I was sent a fake! I've found the Waring Pro DB60 to be a solid double burner. I like the simple design with cast iron plates makes for easy clean up. I can't begin to say how THRILLED I am with this unit.It is, simply, the BEST, PROFESSIONAL, COMMERCIAL QUALITY unit you can find. I've had other, non-professional units--which never heat hot enough--which causes sticking-and soon stop working. The extra $$ for this unit are worth every penny.I had given up on others-and this was my last resort. These burners heat and stay HOT for even cooking and frying. This is the second identical unit I've owned. The first one worked fine for about 6-8 months, then the temperature knob stopped working and I could only use it for 100% hot (5 on the knob) or nothing at all. Then it stopped working altogether.

I was very disappointed in this blower. You cannot feel any air blowing from the fireplace when this in on.
