The length is right for my 3 burner grill in the backyard, but, are these real stainless steel? First, "Stainless steel" is not mentioned anywhere on the package. Second, it feels soft. The point feels a bit dull for me so I tried to sharpen it with a rotary sharpener. The material falls off easily, but I can never make it sharp enough. It's more like Aluminum to me.

We ordered these so the grandkids could roast marshmallows for s'mores on the fire pit. They worked great. They are long enough so that the kids aren't too close to the fire. Perfect!
