Well, I'm almost embarrassed by this one. Last night, I went to start the furnace and I didn't have a match. (For those of you who might question the December 14 starting date, well I live in San Diego, so eat your heart out.) Alas, and I needed one of those long wooden ones so I could reach into the innards of the furnace to ignite the pilot light. Well, I found a box of Diamond Greenlight "Strike on Box Matches" at a nearby store and all was solved. One match did the trick. Plus, there's 299 more of them so I'm stocked well into the future. These matches are really great for home use and camping. I got an entire box completely wet on a camping trip and after letting them dry overnight they still work and the striking strip is still as reliable as ever. Can't beat practical, sturdy matches that come from responsible forests. Good buy.
