These things are the best fire starters I have used. They burn hot and for a long time. I put some in a small semirigid bin in my B.O.B. that I tapped into on my last camping trip. We stay stocked up on these every winter. They are perfect and easy to use for our fireplace. Seems like they'd be easy to make, but they are super easy to buy from Amazon ;)not enough in the box, otherwise it lights fast and lasts long enough to start even the larger logs without kindling.
