It does the job, stays flat even though its quite thin. Not bad for the money, this things can be very expensive. The edge stay stitched. No complaints.the color I chose was a little lighter than expected...but still nice..we had just updated our fireplace and floors and needed a rug...it serves the purpose and goes with the decor
