I purchased this fireplace screen as a gift for my daughter. She has four young children and this screen is not only extremely good looking but it is also very sturdy. The curved top allows an absent grandmother to feel safe about her grandchildren sitting near a fire. My entire experience with Amazon and the Panacea product was flawless.

This was a perfect fit and actually looks nicer than it does in the picture. The only complaint is the top got a little dented in shipping but not enough to warrant repacking and sending it back.

I ordered this a safety measure for our gas fireplace. It fits well and stays at a safe temperature, with the exception of the uppermost 4 inches which are directly above my fireplace vent. That isn't a problem for us as my baby cannot reach that high. I like that it cannot be tipped forward due to the enclosed top; it can still be tipped backward. Ours is held in place with two Command Adhesive hooks attached to the fireplace surround. As others have mentioned it is easily dented, but I was more concerned with function.

When I first looked at this screen it was listed as $29.99, three days later when I'd decided on this model it was listed at $44.99. A week after purchase: $80.99!! At that price I would not have ordered this model.

We needed to update our fire place screen and saw one that looked like this in a photograph. I looked online and found this one for a great price and I am very happy with it.
