This candle stand is very solid and the design is great for variable spaces. Sturdy and easy to assemble. I recommend this item. My only complaint is that a couple of the candle stands did not screw in perfectly... still works, but minor quality issues.

My fireplace is small! Candles were too high up so I took the hacksaw and cut the feet off the tallest ones. It still stands due to the accordion design (yay).

Also, like another review said, candles are hard to put on. I used a drill to make the holes first..much better!

Thirdly, added glass bead/blobs on top of some foil and my unsafe fireplace is a joy!
