This is a product that was advertised as suitable under a fire pit (pictures show it used that way). When you get it there is a large notice that it is not suitable for that purpose. I kept it under the grill but it is a little small for that.This is a wonderful fireplace. It is very large and we are loving it. The protective barrier around the cage is nice and the lid is also good safety. The only issue I am concerned about is we have been using this fireplace for 2 months at least 3-4 times a day and we are noticeing a lot of rust building up around on it and on the legs. Very concened this may not hold up for much longer then a few years.
