My fire pit is built into my patio. The problem has been airflow. I had been placing logs on the bottom of the pit, not understanding that I needed to lift them so air could flow from the bottom (duh) and this is from a woman who has had a wood burning stove for years. Well, this was perfect, although it is really small for my needs. Make sure to measure carefully, as I didn't and will need to order another one. Its very sturdy, holds up under a heavy load of logs.Works good it is a good product and I like the way is looks the quality is good I would recommend this to anybody vDnYBammweld, you are going to have to cut 3 inches off the legs to get the wood close enough to the coal base, and then re weld the whole thing, its just tacked together. i'm gona have to weld what i took off the legs to the base, it sagged after the first useI ordered this and it came with the center grate missing. When I examined it you could see that the bars were just spot welded. This is low quality and I would not even get a new one. It will clarly start loosing the bars accross the grate over time. Did not get a replacement. Don't waste your time on this product.
