This is my review of the Duraflame Gold 4.5 lb. fire logs. As you'll see from the video, I'm pleased with the logs, although they're not perfect. They give off a pleasing, bright and warm flame for about 2-2.5 hours. After that, the flame gets small..and gets small fast! Obviously the "imitation log" route is no replacement for real wood logs if you're looking for a long term solution for regular use it'd be waaay too expensive. But for the occassional quick and easy fire, they're perfect. The flame is warm and bright, although it doesn't have the crackle and pop of real wood, it still is a pleasure to have going in our TV room. I've heard in so many reviews people complaining about a chemical smell when burning these I have now burnt several of these since making this video and have had absolutely no foul smells. Long story short, I recommend these!

wasn't sure what the "gold" as all about. i use this brand of log all the time to start my fires ... which provides a wonderful base for burning logs later on in the same day. these logs have huge flames and covers the entire log. beautiful!Buy Duraflame Ultra-Premium Gold 6-Pack 4.5LB Firelogs Now
For what we paid for these Duraflame logs it doesn't see worth it. They didn't last any longer, or perform any different that the regular Duraflame logs that we usually buy.Read Best Reviews of Duraflame Ultra-Premium Gold 6-Pack 4.5LB Firelogs Here
Yes these logs do burn brighter but... They only last about 2hrs ( tiny logs and brighter flames = short burn times ) and frankly for 7 dollars more for a case of these over the original duraflame log, not worth it.Want Duraflame Ultra-Premium Gold 6-Pack 4.5LB Firelogs Discount?
These logs did look ok and did burn great as advertised, but I would say the smoke from my chimney is black and there is an odor if the smoke does not go up the chimney (all fireplace leak a bit) then you get an odor. So they burn well, but i prefer good old wood when possible.
