It works for what is intended to do, but after using it 2 or tree times, it now squeaks at the lower speed. I will get in there and find where to lube it, but didn't think I would have to do it right away. I was not expecting top of the line when I purchased it. It does push air as intended. Delivery was good as well.

I like the way it fit into the woodstove's opening, however, my husband did need to drill a couple of holes to attach it.It does move a lot of air and does have a good variety of speeds.
The thing I personally, don't like is that it is noisy. but take into consideration, that I don't like noise. My husband doesn't mind it at all.
I wouldn't let this negative keep you from buying it.This fan is fine. Like the other reviews and the instructions say, don't expect any huge noticebable air flow. I am using it in a shop with high ceilings however, so probably less noticeable in my case.I expected the amount of air movement would be noticeable, it isn't. The fan is not noisy, but you can definitely hear it running. The cord is six feet long. Considering you should have a two foot clearance from the back of your stove to the nearest wall. that leaves only four feet of cord left. so unless you have a receptacle really close, you are going to need an extension cord. The unit comes with a speed control, However mine does not seem to make much difference no matter what position I put it in.Runs very quiet and runs quietly. Easy to install, fast shipping, came with everything I needed to install it in our wood burner.
