I was able to put this fireplace together by myself in about 4 hours. It looks beautiful, and it works well. The flames look absolutely real. I love the option of having a glowing fire without the heater on during the summer. It adds a coziness to my living room. I have a small home, so it fits perfectly. The remote control is a nice feature, although it is very small--not tall like in the description.
