Perfect for a small room that needs quiet heat without heating the whole house. Wish I had found it sooner!I wanted a small heater/fireplace for our apartment. I used to have one I'd purchased from Lowe's that was metal and had different temp settings etc, but it didn't come in white so I ordered this one. This one is much smaller than it looks in the picture. The outside is plastic as are the feet. At first I didn't think it was possible to adjust the flame/heat or to turn one on without the other, but my grandson found a drop door on the front that hides those controls. I thought the door was just for looks. Once I found that, I was much more pleased with the product.
