I mounted this fan at the top of a doorway to move warm air from a room heated with a pellet stove to the rest of the house. I choose this model because of its rating of 105 cfm, which is twice that of similar fans. I liked so much that I added a second one to the doorway to further increase the air flow. It is very quiet compared to other fans. The other reviewers are correct about it being quiet but I am not finding it very powerful. Maybe the room is too large but I thought it would move the hot air better than it does. I am not sure if it makes any difference.
