This item did not hold up too long. It should have been of better quality. After a short time of use, it begin to loose it's shape and no longer served it's purpose.

I picked this up for a kids party planning to prepack cotton candy bags instead of renting a machine, it worked out great. The first batch was a little tricky. But once I gave up on the cones it was very easy. I used a reversed chopstick (sharp end in my hand) and twirled it in one place instead of moving around the machine, Frankly the bowl isn't big enough for the classic cone filling motion. Holding the wide end of the chopstick slightly above the unit and spinning in place quickly each measure of sugar gave me a softball sized wad of candy. I slid it off the stick into a ziplock bag and sealed it, kept great for a day and the kids loved it, this is a lower calorie treat for kids than a bowl of ice cream or a plate of cookies and twice as fun. Keeping me from five stars is the size of the bowl and the inability to easily seat the bowl firmly. I had to hold on edge down with my hand to eliminate an annoying buzz. Performs well after a few tries, produces a very fine sugar. I also wish it was easier to clean under the bulb, but the rest of the unit just takes a few swipes with hot water. Great home unit.

My wife and daughter LOVE cotton candy. I used to run all the concessions at a large amusement park, so I would have been happy if I never made cotton candy again in my life. However...I saw this and thought it would make a great Christmas present for them.

I was a little dubious when I saw that the heat is generated from small halogen light bulbs. I was used to the commercial makers that get VERY hot. The heat is certainly sufficient to make nice, fluffy cotton candy. It isn't nearly as fast as the machines you see at a fair, but it works well enough for making a few cones at home.

I saw other reviews that said it didn't work well until the fourth or fifth time it was used. It worked fine on the first use for me.

This is not what you are looking for if you want to make a lot of cotton candy at once, It probably took about 3-4 minutes to make a small cone that a commercial machine would make in a few seconds. On the other hand, this one didn't cost $1200.

Hints:

1. The warm up period of 5 minutes is absolutely necessary.

2. The Floss (cotton candy) does not come out fast enough and the bowl is not big enough to pick up the cotton candy the way you see it done at the fair. I had the best result by getting it started on the cone and then slowly twirling the cone directly over the head (where the sugar goes in).

3. Do not turn off the machine until all the sugar is out of the head. The remaining sugar can solidify and become quite a hassle to get out. This is the number one cause of having to repair the commercial cotton candy makers.

I also ordered the Cotton Candy Express Fun Pack Kit with three flavors and a bunch of paper cones. It worked very well.

This a very good cotton machine maker works good.first couple times I used it, it did not make very much candy. The more U use it the more it makes a big size cone. Not messy at all if U don't over fill the spinner. Very happy with this machine, LOVE it.

it was a gift for christmas my daughter loves this machine she's 10 and makes candy all the time, the only drawback on this machine is that the bowl should have been bigger because while the stick is being layered with the candy because it's a small fit the candy tends to burn and gets hard, all around a good product.

The flames are extremely realistic and the unit itself is very good quality. I decided against wall mounting it and instead have it on a corner table which is perfect. Some people have complained about how much heat it puts out. To them I would say, if you're trying to heat 1000 s.f. with this little heater, you have other issues. For heating up a single room quickly, it definitely serves the purpose and I like being able to rotate through the Low heat, high heat and flame only options right from the remote. Four stars because you have no thermostatic control, which at this price point seems a little ridiculous. A cheaper model of this (with crappy looking flames to show for it) has a thermostatic control, why wouldn't this expensive one? Generally I'm happy with it and would buy it again. The same cannot be said for the Dimplex Convex unit you can read my review of that on here as well.

This is a reliable space heater that puts out a fair amount of heat. The thermostat controls work (more or less) like any other heater -whatever you select, when the temperature around the heater reaches that level, the unit shuts off. As long as you don't expect it to correctly monitor room temperature, you're fine. We have had ours for a couple of years now and after about 18 mos the oscillating gears started falling apart, making clicking noises and leaving little pieces of plastic behind. It is still usable but not with oscillation. It is also noisy (loud fan) and is only used by us as a backup heater when other options are not available (ie one of our radiant flat panels died).

I was looking for an inexpensive yet sturdy to stack some excess left over from last winter. After shopping around on Amazon I settled on this Panacea log rack. For the price of around $60 I wasn't expecting much of a rack, just something to hopefully hold the wood until next winter but to my surprise this Panacea log rack is a great value for the money.

It arrived in a sturdy box with easy to follow instructions for assembly. All the components were painted nicely. The nuts and bolts provided were heavy duty and machined well. Assembly took about 15 minutes with one person. I was able to tighened each nut/bolt very tightly without anything stripping. Then I placed the rack into position and started loading it with wood. In about 30 more minutes the rack was full the top with 8 feet of wood and was very sturdy probably due to the additional feet supporting the load half way through its length.

I would certainly buy this product again and would recommend it to anyone seeking a log rack at a reasonable price.

No way will this hold a cord of wood as the description stated. You might get a little over 1/2 cord. Simple to assemble. Worth the price.

Before I ordered this product, I didn't know what to do with my logs. They just sat in the corner of my yard, looking very disorganized. This log rack was the perfect solution. It holds a lot of logs, and looks great, not to mention it's sturdy! Overall, a great product.
