This log rack is simply designed, easy to assemble, extremely sturdy, high quality, attractive, and holds a lot of wood. We will be using this product for decades. The style is timeless and the color of the metal is neutral. It is made of solid heavy iron not flimsy hollow tin tubes. We were looking for a hearth rack that was not too fussy, didn't take up too much space, and yet could hold enough wood to get us through two days of rain at our cottage in Maine. This rack is terrific! It looks like it was made to go with our new wood stove, it just sits quietly but elegantly next to the stove, and it doesn't trip people up. I have had several hearth racks that were all fancier than this and they all eventually broke. most were pop or diecast metal that you can't wield. This rack is increadably stong, holds more logs than you would think and is finished well. Would not hesitate to recommend to a friend.

After looking for something that would accomodate our unique fireplace size, we found this and the height is perfect. A lot of standard screens were an inch short. The doors are nice to tend the fire without having to remove it Two front feet and one center rear adjustable to accomodate brick. It is a very nice quality and is in no way a flimsy box store screen. after much searching I settled on the Q-Mark QPH4A Portable Electric Heater for my wife's potting shed and craft room, which is a separate building on our small property location. Works great and it heats her potting shed in record time. Her shed is 10' x 16' with a 10 foot ceiling, and is insulated and covered with T&G interior walls. As such, she only has to run Q-Mark on the low setting. Great product, and is relatively quiet and the thermostat works just fine. Only thing I would have liked added to the Q-Mark would be a visable thermometer to see the actually temperature; but we just added a separate thermometer and that does the trick just as well. Heavy duty and well built, I would recommend the Q-Mark without any doubt! I bought this heater as I have a solar system that has generated tons of extra kilowatts that I am using to lower my gas heating bill. I tried the small portable ones from the big box stores but they are made in China and don't hold up well (and I prefer to employ Americans!) I tapped this into an extra 240 volt range outlet in my kitchen that wasn't getting used. It is a solid heater and is relatively quiet. It seems to be very durable and I did call the company and verify it is manufactured in the Carolinas. The only knock I have on it is that I wish it put out even more wattage. I was comparing it to one from Home Depot that was 5600 watt max and this one is only about 4000 watts. I have a large house and ever bit would help. I was not expecting this to heat the entire house...just to supplement and minimize the amount the gas kicks on. Overall I was happy with the product and I do believe if I had bought the cheaper, made in Taiwan unit it would not have held up as long. Vote with your dollars...buy made in USA products, they are better!

We bought this to add to our prepping. Hard to find in Florida but if a hurricane comes through you could still use one for cooking if electric is out for days. I was looking for an old one with the oven but am glad I have this for now. Bought the coleman camp oven to set on top of it for baking but havent tried it yet so not sure how it will work out. I do know it is getting a little rust on it even though it is under shelter and has not been used yet so will have to get the black paint for hot cookers and spray it down. We want to be able to take care of ourself if things go south and not count on anyone else. Still have a long way to go but every step is one step closer. I was a little cautious about buying this table/fire pit (due to 10+ negative reviews on Amazon) so I spent months researching alternatives before I finally pulled the trigger on this Strathwood. Was missing the screw to attach the knob to the cover, which required a trip to Home Depot but other than that, we're completely satisfied. My husband and I were initially so excited to find this product. It seemed like exactly what we'd been searching for, and most of the reviews were fantastic! When it was delivered, we began assembling it, only to find that some of the aluminum pieces were warped, and the main, central piece of the table was welded into a crooked oval instead of a circle. Amazon Returns was extremely easy to deal with and they handled our exchange promptly. They arranged for the defective table to be picked up at the same time that a replacement was delivered. We were disappointed that we couldn't start using the table right away, but we were hopeful that the replacement would work out. Unfortunately, the replacement table was even worse than the first! Every aluminum piece was bent or crooked, and even the cast iron top had several flaws. If this table was half the price, we may have been okay with the shoddy workmanship, but for over $300, we expected a good, quality product. I'm not sure if other customers were less picky about the workmanship, or if we were just amazingly unlucky. Amazon will not send a third replacement product, so now it's back to the drawing board to find something comparable.
