Bought this to replace a 47 year old Vestal #49 ash dump. New one is slightly different with the hinge. Had to chip away a quarter inch of masonry so it would fit perfectly. I would agree with all the other reviews regarding the packaging, if they had better packaging I would give this a 5 star. There was a small chip of paint on one side due to parts rattling around during shipping, other than that it was in perfect condition, for me it wasn't worth sending back. I was looking for a screen with doors for my fireplace and this fit the bill perfectly, the doors open and close fine and line up perfectly with my fireplace opening. It really depends on what you want if for, but overall, it's an easy 4 and possibly 5. Packaging was pretty good on my end, but I can see where there could be issues with others. There are virtually no instructions. But, I was able to use a simple mortar compound, create the look and seal it in place. For me, it worked, but I either got a little lucky or it's a darn good product for the price. This looked to be one of the better options in the price range when viewing online. As soon as I opened the package, I saw how cheap and poorly-constructed this item is. It had portions of the outer black coating chipped and peeling off, multiple scratches, and in general just poor quality. Perhaps some of this is to be expected after sitting on a Chinese cargo vessel for weeks and thrown around until it hit my front door. Just beware and don't be fooled by the appearance of the item online. I replaced an old black and brass fireplace screen with this one. Previous one was very dated and the brass parts were flimsy and cheap looking. This one was easy to set up and looks classy. Fit the spot perfectly. Be sure and measure first. These come in a couple of sizes.

I love the look of this billow. I bought one at a log home show in Essex Jct., VT two years ago. These heaters will maintain temperature and raise it within reason. They are very efficient. If you do not have humdtity up there, I believe 40%, then you should purchase the larger model that has a built in humidifier. The heat travels through the moisture. These heaters are not intended to replace a much larger heat source such as central heating or a wood stove that can raise temperature from below freezing to comfortable room temperatures. They do an excellent job of holding temperature and raising it within a much narrower range which most purchasers will find quite satisfactory. Remember its only 1500 watts maximum. That make for very inexpensive heat. With oil and gas costing as much as electricity this is a much more efficient route. If you heat the areas you are using rather than from wall to wall that alone will save you about 25% in heat. In Europe they only use focused heat because energy supplies are so expensive. Many large building like churches are not heated at all.

I have been using this timer for about 5 years and just purchased 3 more at the request of neighbors who wanted one for their apartments. Mine is used to time the hot water heater for my daily shower and has more than paid for itself in savings on the electricity bill. Previously it was necessary to manually turn on and off the heater and invariably it remained on longer than necessary, to the detriment of my electricity bill. The fact that I have used this timer daily for 5 years without a hitch is confirmation of its durability. I realize that nothing last forever, but after 5 years of daily use mine shows no sign of advancing age.

Unfortunately the Zutton line of products bombed out in Japan so they sent them over here to try. Zojirushi is normally known for its quality products (and you can't beat the longevity on their "Made in Japan" potto dispensing pots) however, the entire Zutto line was tested by me and found to be less than promising (if you go to Japan and visit a department store, you will see the Zutto line in a quiet corner drawing no attention). The problem is that it tries to present itself as trendy and perhaps even metallic in nature. When you get the actual product you discover that it is in fact plastic and flimsy (just lift the lid on the Zutton Dispensing Water Pot and you can feel the quality or lack thereof). None of the Zutto products have any substance. To make matters worse, they must sell in this country for more than they sold in Japan. This reason is unknown other than the fact that they are trying to promote it as a high-end item when in fact it is plastic. Although the initial heat-up period is a bit long (I think about 15 minutes...long enough for me to forget to keep track anyway :-), once the water reaches the proper temperature, this is a wonderfully convenient product--so far we use ours primarily for those evening cups of tea, but occasionally we find it useful for other applications needing a quick dose of hot water. The steel with black exterior fits in perfectly with the other stainless appliances in our new kitchen as well so we don't feel a need to hide it--although there is a decent amount of hot steam released during the boil-mode (I just slide it forward so the steam is not captured under the cabinets), the exterior remains a comfortable temperature to touch. Except that we found it to be a bit high in price, we are very pleased with the function and appearance overall and would eagerly recommend it.

I've only used this vacuum for a month and a half and so far it is working fine. The ashes are easily suctioned up and clean up is easy. Just unlatch the top, remove the first filter and dump the ashes in the trash. However I would say its not a very powerful vacuum. Don't look to suction up any thing more than the ashes. Also the vacuum comes with almost no attachments. All you get is one metal pipe attachment and a smaller plastic nozzle type attachment. Item worked well and made money from the popcorn stand but the Warehouse could have been better with the description.This popcorn machine is a great crowd pleaser. Makes family movie night even better at our house. Clean up is fairly easy. I would recommend this machine to anyone & do.I purchased 8 of these machines for my business. Half of them broke on the first use. The power switch to pop the popcorn broke on just about all of them. Not great quality at all.The popcorn taste old and tough. Why Do you have to use a special popcorn? That would be bad if you do.

-I was a bit nervous on the purchase of this fan when reading how some people said it makes a noise "that sounds like ball bearings going out" ... I will admit I was a bit sold simply on the looks. Saddened initially, but without losing hope I pushed on it, shook it a little, then found myself a screw driver. Yes. Tightened every screw I could find on it. (about 6-8) and it hasn't made the noise again. I would say each screw was maybe a quarter to a half a turn loose. After a week or so of owning this thing I had to return it. The aesthetic is nice, but thats about it. The fan has 3 speeds: Jet engine, Turbo, and Aquarium pump. Let me explain. The highest speed is ridiculously loud and I can't imagine being suitable for any application other than a garage or workshop. The medium setting isn't too bad and pushes a decent amount of air, but still rather noisy for a normal quiet environment. Then the lowest speed is a joke. Rather than hearing air noise, you hear the drone/hum of a seemingly underpowered electric motor. And it kind of buzzes too on the lowest setting. It hardly pushes any air at all either so I don't know why that was even a consideration as a speed. So on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the fastest, I'd say the three speeds you get here are a 10, 7, and 1. I was hesitant to buy this product after reading so many reviews about the humming sound on the lowest setting. Then I saw one that suggested tightening the screws. So I bought it, and as it turned out mine made a pretty annoying humming sound on the lowest setting (the hum was louder than the fan noise). I was disappointed. Then I pressed down gently on the unit with my hands, and the sound disappeared. So I determined that the hum sound had to do with external factors, probably vibrations caused by all the screws not being tight enough (like the other reviewer said). So I got my screwdriver, tightened all the screw, and BAM hum sound gone. It is basically silent on the lowest setting now, and works perfectly.
