I installed this in the original EOM location on my Quadrafire Wood Stove. The fan is unbelievably quiet, really produces a good air flow. Had no issues with the install, I just snipped the power leads from the old motor and installed snap connections, hooked them up to the new blower unit. Put everything back in the blower cabinet, and put it back on the stove. Ran first time with plug in and I was able to keep the OEM reostat and wiring. Recommend this unit over the EOM unit. MUCH much quieter and 1/2 the price!Easy to instal. Accurate description. Quick shipping. I do love this log and only wish it was easier to find the gel cartridges. I have been able to find them at smokelesslog.com but wish I could get them on Amazon. Other than that hassle, the cartridges seem to burn well and without the nasty alcohol odor that can happen with some of the cans. This is just what I was looking for...a log to accommodate the cartridge gel. I dislike the can gels as they give off an awful odor. I found the cartridge type gel that is scented with Pine, Vanilla and Cinnamon. Unfortunately, you have to change the log to accommodate the cartridge. I used the cartridges when I lost electricity for 9 days during hurricane Sandy. It gave off enough heat to bring the temperature up from 58 degrees to 65 degrees. This soaker hose works great. Like the other reviews said, it doesn't stream out. The water soaks from the hose. The one BIG negative is that it contains LEAD. Like another reviewer said, this hose weeps water from everywhere on the hose. It works great. Much better than the Home Depot hose I replaced. The Home Depot hose would squirt water from little pin-prick holes and shoot the water 3 feet from the hose. This one just drips water from the hose. Ugh. I didn't read the reviews before I bought it. I opened it and saw the warning that it contains chemicals known to cause cancer, including lead. The directions say to wash your hands after touching the hose. Please don't buy this. There are plenty of lead-free soaker hoses out there. You can even search for Lead-free soaker hose on amazon.
