I had purchased this heater to replace one from Duraflame but found this one to be severely lacking. It has a single control knob that allows for two temperatures, off and blazing heat of the sun. This heater blasts out intense heat for a few moments, overheats and then shuts down. During the shutdown time you are freezing until it decides to throw more heat upon you.Portable excellent for desk and personal use does not heat room just were directed. We got this heater to maintain the temperature in the nursery without having to heat the whole house. It's great! I was always worried that my little one would get too hot or cold during the night. This gives me one less thing to worry about. Bonus points for providing pleasant t white noise and for being a fan (noted for reducing risk of SIDS). ...from heaven. This is possibly the nicest heater I have ever owned/seen. Quiet, safe, cool to the touch, 2 heat modes, and a fairly accurate temperature sensor. The controls on the heater are kind of a hassle and I much prefer to use the remote. Besides that I LOVE this heater. Well worth the $150 IMO.

I love my electric fireplace!!!! Had to receive the heater and the base separately(2 shipments) and i had only received the base! Called and they sent me the heater right away! This is a very nice fireplace bought to put in a finished family room in the basement and it looks great. Although it has been very hot this summer, I tried the heater for about 30 minutes and it puts out nice warmth think it will be pefect to keep the room cozy this winter. HOWEVER, beware Amazon advertised this as 12 month free financing and it was not. I really like this little guy. It was easy to assemble. It cranks out some serious heat. So far so good. The only complaint I have about it, is that the grill on the front gets REALLY hot when it's turned on. I guess it makes it more like a real fireplace! :)

THis malfunctioned from the start by boiling over out of the vent slots on the top lid. We managed by leaving the lid open so that the pressure was relieved. After only 5 months of use, the "dispense" mechanism electronics malfunction such that the boiling hot water wont stop after you release the button...must be unplugged to get it to stop...problematic to say the least.It does what it said it does. Few things that I wish to see improved:

Fan feels like a quality product. Adjustable speed is a very nice feature. The fan can be a little loud at full speed so I dialed it back a bit. My only complaint is the installation instruction. I had to do a little research to clarify some instructions. I found the Amazon reviews to be my best source. It was fairly easy to install, but had to ask an electrician friend of mine to look at it because I was unsure about where to put the ground wire, and duh, it just clips on any part inside the fireplace. It blows really well for its small size and really pushes a lot of hot air into the room. I feel like our fireplace, which has a thermostat, runs half the time and heats the room twice as well. The sensor works perfectly. The blower arrived but didn't have the right "hook-up" instructions to connect the wires to the existing wiring in my fireplace. So--thanks to the internet: fireplaceblowersonline-top of page 2) I found the instructions that perfectly showed me the way, and 15 minutes later, the blower was up and running. Works good!

This is a wonderful product especially for the price. We mounted the mantel and surround on a tabby fireplace and it looks great! Although the birch wood was beautiful, we painted it white. We did modify the mounting pieces a little and overall installation took a couple of hours, but it was worth it!!

I ordered this fireplace 2 month ago with promice to ship whitin 48 hours. I recieved it in 3 weeks. When I opened the box, the top panel was completely crashed and broken due to the bad packaging. I requested to replace the fireplace. For two weeks I got a lot e-mail with request to make a picture of the broken part and so on. Finaly I provided a full information with sku and number. In one week and half I recieved a box with replacement part. When I opened a box I was shocked, they sent to me a top panel from corner fireplace (it is obviouse from the picture and order description it is a flat mantel). We bought the England's Stove Works 25-PDV pellet stove. If the stove worked properly, it would be a fantastic piece of machinery. Unfortunately, from the beginning, the stove has not worked smoothly. Have had blower issues, auger issues, constant noise, error messages, and consistent shutdowns. To those who claim that product and customer service fabulous, I say, "Wow!" Are you sure?? We've had nothing but heartache right from the beginning. The stove is cleaned and maintained daily to the utmost degree. You'd think the machinery was a Lamborghini instead of a pellet stove. Horrible, horrible, despicable product. So unreliable & problematic. Would never go near this company for endless reasons again. Should have done more homework. The company does not provide technical services (everything is your own out-of-pocket expense even if the parts are under warranty), 24 hour customer service is not available, and no weekend customer service at all. We purchased this in November 08 and have used it since. We live in Minnesota in a old 2 story house and it heats our home very well. The only complaints I have is that we need to shut it down and clean it every day and a couple of times it has shut down on its own. I will tell you that it is really a multifuel as this winter we have burned oats in it as our corn did not dry down enough to be picked this fall. When it is real cold -15 or lower we add some wood pellets to our oats for extra heat. We never have to have the stove over 5 no matter how cold. The truth is last winter when we burned corn we had trouble with it being to warm so we would add wood pellets for less heaat. So I would recommend this stove highly. We did have one opportunity and I do mean opportunity to work with Customer Service and it was wonderful. They did not talk down to me even though I am a woman. Other companies need to learn what real customer service is from this company. I called them because I the stove was making more noise then when we first started using it, about 1 month later and no questions they sent out a new motor and did not even want the other returned. I can not tell you how good they are to work with. As I read in anohter person comment they also called us to make sure we had recieved the part and to see if every thing was ok a week after I called them. Our son bought a American Harvest Stove and has had a lot of trouble with it and US Stoves (manufacturer) customer service is terrible. It took 6 times of waiting online, at least 30 minutes each time, for him to talk to anyone and all he got was the run around. He had his a year before we bought ours that is why we did not go with that brand. Like I said the big negative is that we have to clean it once a day. After looking at pellets stoves in my local area and reading reviews on them, I decided to buy a England's Stove from Homedepot.com. I saw other stoves that looked nicer, with fake bricks and bigger windows, but for the price and excellent reviews I choice this stove. They said that customer service was great and let me tell you they are. I called several times for stupid reasons and the staff was so nice and helpful(and spoke English which was great for me). The stove also comes with a instructional video, which was wonderful when my husband had to change the gaskets and do the yearly maintenance.
