The fan works great, but the instructions were horrible. The instructions were incomplete and I had to look them up online.The unit works as expected. Unfortunately, the instructions aren't very easy to follow, since they are for another manufacturer's similar hardware. Better instructions would have made for a much simpler installation process.The blower was not complete and I had to improvise to install. I called the manufacturer for help, but they didn't return my callI paid for this product and never got it because they had it priced wrong. They sent me an email that said that they refunded my money and they were having it shipped back to them. I talked to them saying i paid for this product and it was mine how can they just take it back. I said if I went to Walmart and bought something and as I was walking out they said o sir we did not charge you enuf for the product and we are going to take it out of your cart and give you a refund. I know they would not do that because that would be bad customer service.

This has flimsy made weave with inside coating, it works, but so thin, it is obvious it won't likely last though the winter. I might just make my own out of heavy duty gore tex or denim and just keep the stand. If you don't use the carrier that often will probably be fine. This is a great tote and log rack perfect for the nights stack of logs. Holds 7 to 10 logs cut 22" to 24" inches long. The handy removeable tote makes trips to the wood wagon a breeze. When I ordered this product I didn't realize it was two pieces. I was surprised when I got it and realized that the main part of it is like a tote that you can put the logs in and carry them to the fireplace and it also serves as a log rack that keeps your logs handy for use. So it wasn't exactly what I expected but I do like it and it was less expensive. Right now I am living on unemployment so cheap is good.

Purchased one of these to replace a crumbling ceramic unit. Seemed like a good idea at the time. At the end of one season, the stove became slugish and I was unable to engage the cat by the end of the season. Just pulled it out and the cells have corroded and disintegrated and completely plugged the unit. Be clear, this is not a creosote plug. Would not recomend this unit to anyone....unit is breaking down. The metal fins are crumbling. Under the warranty I can get a replacement for about $100, but why would I want to base upon this performance. I so wanted to by American too. I'm sticking with the ceramic.Replaced Cat after toooo many years in my Defiant Encore . Felt that I would buy the best that was available . Stove seems to be able to go to the converter earlier and the logs last longer . Will let you know at the end of the season but at this time I am completly happy .

These heaters have a propensity to fail after a year. they never get "really hot", no glowing, wasteful 1500 watt machine... so why do the over heat sensors fail: I've had 4 fail like this. The company wants more to fix them than the purchase price. I like the idea... but inferior parts and 100% of 4 units so far (at removed the overheat sensors and they work fine... but I'd rather them work as they're supposed to).Buy Vornado Whole room Heater Now

I bought this heater to knock the morning chill out of a very small bathroom 5'9 by 5'11, that does not have any other heat source. It heats the space very quickly. After much research and side by side comparison of heat output I determined that ceramic small heaters are the best. Do not go by watts . A 1500 watt ceramic heater will give off more heat than a 1500 watt coil type heater. I found this Duraflame 14T had decent to good reviews. The only question I did not have an answer to was how quiet it was. I had the hardware shop open it and plug it in. It was a quiet as one can imagine. I brought it home, plugged it in and smelled a hot smokey smell. I thought it was burning off the packing chemical/oils however with 3 minutes of turning it on, there was a "POP" sparks flew out the grill and it started smoking profusely.

We took this fire pit to a recent camping trip in the mountains. Comparing to the size of typical fire logs you can purchase, this fire pit was relatively small but not too small to ruin the experience. Our conventional fire logs of size about 22" x 4" couldn't completely fit inside the bowl, which made us think about being creative and supporting the top two logs with another smaller one that sat under them. This is why I gave it a four out of five stars: after the first round of fire, the bottom grid holding the support log was bent downward, due to the heat and the weight of the logs. I bought this fire pit to take with me on my RV trips. First of all, it folds up nicely inside a nylon bag that holds everything. The legs fold out and lock for a sturdy feel. It has a nice screen top to contain any sparks. It is made to also use as a grill but I don't plan on cooking on it. I just want to use it for ambiance reasons. It was easy to clean after use. This fire pit is light weight and packs away nicely in an RV. It worked great for what I wanted to use it for, an RV park that didn't have fire pits. As others have said, my husband was amazed it didn't melt. Make sure your fire wood is very small since the pit is so small. I would only recommend this item for travel, and for the ambience a camp fire provides, not for cooking or for a permanent structure in your back yard.

After having Amazon (Thank you Amazon) replace the first pot because it chipped during shipping due to weak packing for such a heavy item, we received the second pot and it went badly from there. They coat the thing in lacquer, supposedly to deter rust, and my wife spent hours trying to get it off the bottom and out of the inside. We purchased this kettle as a humidifier for the wood-burning stove. The color is amazing and the kettle is sturdy. You will have to assemble the handle yourself and we found out why: it easily chips the coating over the cast iron. I made it worse by clipping in the handle, then realizing how it is supposed to assemble (lid loops over rear handle hole, metal ring over lid loop, THEN insert the handle). There were instructions for curing the metal, but not for assembly so in my eagerness to put the handle on I realized my mistake. The beautiful coating chipped putting the handle on as well as taking it off. I have had one of these for about ten years. It's rusty on the inside but the outside finish is flawless. I just polished it. Looks good.
