I own a Castle Insert pellet stove. I bought it used and though I love the heat it produces, I hated how noisy it was. After going through all the components, I realized the convection blower was making alot of noise. I searched the internet and ordered this blower. What a major difference! This is a great desk for a small space, and works perfectly in the corner of the living room of my 1br apartment. It's sturdy and stylish, with inside room for my laptop on one side and a pile of papers on the other. The fold-down top makes a very sturdy surface on which to type (I have a somewhat heavy hand on the keyboard). I use the laptop with a flat-panel monitor on top and a wireless keyboard/mouse combo (that stores on top of the laptop when the desk is closed). I set up my screen saver as a slideshow of photos so that when the screen saver is on, the monitor on top of the desk acts like one of those digital photo frames. If I have any complaints, it's the accessibility of the drawer when the desk top is open -it can be reached by lifting the keyboard shelf/lid but it's difficult, and best reached when the desk is fully closed up.

The first desk I ordered was delivered with a lot of damage. It had obviously been dropped somewhere, because when it arrived the top of the desk was in pieces.I sent it back to Amazon directly and the customer service was great, we got the problem resolved and the only issue was the extra wait for the new item and having to re-box a large bulky item and ship it back to Amazon.
The desk that was shipped to me next came in good condition. Assembly was simple, bolt the four legs to the desk. Everything else is pre-assembled.
The fasteners, and hardware are pretty good quality, the unit is solid and the legs are even, but as far as the quality goes...it's still mostly press board (if not all, it's hard to tell).
The Chinese have figured out a way to give a real-wood patina to this stuff, so when you look at it there is grain on the surface and it looks nice. But the unit that came damaged had the surface broken, and I could see that it was all "composite" wood. So if you buy this, you can expect a "solid" desk, just don't expect real wood.
Overall though, it's a good looking desk that serves my laptop needs.This desk exceeded my expectations. It was easy to assemble and is very sturdy and solid. The design allows a chair to move freely in every direction. When it's closed it doesn't take up much space. It's solid, versatile, and well-designed. Don't expect high quality wood, but it looks presentable.

Fairly easy to install in the wall mount of an old heater. This is a simple heater, with a single on-off switch plus thermostat all in one control. I would prefer a separate on-off switch, so that heat settings would be preserved if you turn it off at night, and with the controls near the top of the unit rather than near the bottom. Noise of fan seems less than the old one.

Kicks out some real heat at the 4kw level. we put it on a timer and had it come on and off automatically, problem was the fan wasn't allowed to cool the heat coils down enough and then it would trip the high heat sensor. The it wouldn't start back up without hitting it's reset. Bad application for it. They are better in almostevery way. with these. They are better in almost every way. Pretty quiet and don't start blowing until there is heat. The thermostats seem to be set pretty high as they run pottery much constantly. First of all the quality is great. Nicely built. Has a mechanical on/off switch which is essential if you are planning on placing this on a timer like I did. The problem I have with it is that it simply doesn't get hot enough. Does get warm, or maybe tepid. Certainly not like that right out of the dryer feeling.It does allow wet towels, placed on it, to dry faster.I did buy another cheaper model for $68 at a local retailer because it had 3 settings. None were hotter. It also had an electronic on/off switch which didn't work with a timer. Its quality was cheap plastic as well.
Overall I would not buy another as the amount of warmness is not worth this price.

Since I got it for a Christmas gift its just never worked right. You set it on high and the setting change to lower setting of shut themselves off completly.I'm trying to get reciept, much rather have the money then this thing taking up space for nothing.

Purchased this item and thought shipping was expensive but the overall price was good. When it arrived and we removed it from the box we knew that it would not work for our fireplace. We needed a fireplace screen that was bronze as this shows in the picture but this screen is a distressed gold. I contacted the seller and explained that the item was not as described. That it was in original box and tags were not removed. Seller emailed me and said that I was to pay for shipping (paid about $20 to get it here) and that there would be 20% restocking fee but due to my situation they would reduce it to 10%. It just was not worth it to pay to ship this thing back and then pay a restocking fee as well. I am a loyal amazon customer and have purchased many items throughout the years but this was not a good experience and will not purchase from this seller again.

This is a very nice cover. Great solid quality, heavy-ish too. But it's too short to cover our fireplace and also is more olive than we were hoping for! Luckily my sister's fireplace measures the right size, so this will be a gift for her. We're going to buy our second option.... more expensive but will be what we want! We purchased this Skytech controller to replace an Ambient unit that had shorted out after only five years use. Originally, we'd planned to replace the unit with the same brand, but Ambient was double the price (?) and as we couldn't order directly from Amazon, but were redirected to the Ambient site, they wanted us to pay somewhere around $11 for shipping.So, not seeing that there was any additional value for the extra money, we decided to give the Skytech controller a try. Voila! It works like a charm, and unlike our previous Ambient unit, was very easy to set and control. One thing though, don't try to install this if you're not qualified to do so. My hubby is a master electrician, so this was a no-brainer for him. But for a person with no experience, please ask for help. (Safety first!)
The unit is really basic, with only an On-Auto-Off Switch and the remote control also has only On-Off-Timer-Set on its face. In a world where we are inundated with fancy gadgetry, it's nice to see a simple way to warm yourself by the fire. Buy it!

This little heater is powerful! We have vaulted ceilings in our living room and this heater can keep the room at a comfortable temperature for hours. It does need 'warm up' time but once it gets going you know it! I like the wheels on the bottom, they make it easier to move from room to room.I would recommend buying a "utility" extension cord. This heater blew my fuses when i used it the first time so make sure you plug it into an outlet that is not already carrying a heavy load as you WILL need a "good" extension cord.

I purchased this because my boyfriend was using the wet dry vac to clean out the ashes from the smoker...thats right, the wet dry vac. I am sure some are thinking, "Why not?" Because ash is very fine and filthy and the wet dry vac is not dedicated to this singular purpose. As such, another solution needed to be put into place. While this is not as quick or efficient, the curved scoop works perfectly along the bottom of the smoker and my wet dry vac has half a chance for survival. Great product. Excellent construction.

Yes, I also called Rutland and they said it can be used on the inside of a brick fireplace, but if it comes in contact with direct flame it will probably blister and peel. Nowhere on the can does it say it can be used for that purpose.

Used to paint the chimney pipe coming out the back of my stove so it would match the stove. Took a few coates, but worked fine and made everything look much better than a black stove and shiny galvanized piping.I used this stove paint to paint the bricks inside of my fireplace. It worked out really well but be prepared for the mess of a typical paint job. It is a deep black paint and thin just like regular paint so you will have the drips etc. If you are using it for a brick job then I would also recommend buying a spray can for the same type of heat job to get all of the cracks and areas missed by a paintbrush. The only reason I gave this one star was because zero stars wasn't one of the choices. I spent an hour looking for this product, but when I purchased and opened the can, found that the viscosity and opacity of this paint most closely resembled dirty dishwasher. Even after stirring thoroughly, it was virtually impossible to tell where I has painted. I put the lid back on the can and immediately threw into the trash. In a lifetime of remodeling and building, never have I seen a poorer product.

This is a quality candle. Looks beautiful. Lovely texture and color. Burns nicely,evenly.
