I spent quite a while reviewing different fireplaces from different vendors. When I saw this one I fell in love with it. The "shipment" status stated about a week to 3 weeks for delivery so, I was very impressed when it arrived in less then a week. The instructions for putting it together were very specific and all the "holes and notches" fit perfectly. For the price the product is more then worth buying. Thank you, Kim

Pearl Mantels 418-72 Homestead Unfinished Fireplace Mantel Shelf, Length 72-Inch

I ordered this mantel unfinished to make sure I had the right stain color to match the rest of my molding. I noticed a pretty long scratch along the top about 3 inches but you couldnt feel it with your finger. I sanded it lightly with no results. My mason guy was coming the next day so I went ahead and conditioned, stained, sanded, polyed, and sanded again. Scratch still shows. I have strategically place a candle over it. Dissappointed that it was shipped that way. But overall it does look really nice, with nice curves.

Uniflame Hardwood Bellow Cast Nozzle 15" Long

If your wondering if the price is too good to be true than rest assured it's not.

The bellowes is a mid size but displaces an ample amount of air to get the fire roaring.

So pull the trigger if you need one.

Mine came in a box with the brand and model number WoodEze 5UC-6733.

It's small and light enough to hang with my other fireplace tools, but it puts out a lot of air. If you are sitting on the hearth in front of the fire, the size makes it easy to manipulate.

I had one of these before (the same or very similar model number), and it wore out after 4 years of light use. The vinyl melted and cracked to the point where air came out everywhere except the nozzle. But I guess I shouldn't expect much more from a bellows under $20.

From the looks of it (and the description of this model elsewhere), I think the body is pine, not hardwood.

We use these bellows for stoking our Weber charcoal grill. These bellows are a convenient size and really help accelerate the development of a hot fire.

Exactly as described. Made of very nice wood and the metal fixtures are sturdy. It is built well enough to last for a long time. The only down side is that it is small. The chamber doesn't fill up with much air. You need to pump it very quickly, several times for it to work effectively.

It's hard to gauge how big these things are going to be, and this one is definitely small. We have another one that is bigger and it's much easier to use. This works, but you have to do lots of short pumps bc the chamber is just too small.

This is a good replacement blower. It fits very well. The price is very good. The only downfall might be that it makes more noise than the original. A slight hum and you can hear the air being moved. Over all to save over 100$ from the OEM it has my vote.

After seeing the defect with it, and repairing it, it's been a fine blower, operating quietly and consistently.

It looks great up against my black marbel fireplace. The only problem is that it is just a bit too large. I don't use the fireplace, so I removed the back legs and sit it up against the fireplace.

Nu-Flame Accenda Ethanol Fireplace

looks just like the picture except it was much larger then I thought by looking at the pic. I should have looked at the dimensions however the pic was on a dinning table so I thought I had a good perspective. Not much for heating up a room but that is not what it's for.

Otherwise this seems fine. Product description needs to be corrected. I like the style and simplicity of this item, but ai need a larger capacity so I don't have to refill it so often.

Buy Nu-Flame Accenda Ethanol Fireplace Now

I ordered a NEW Nu-flame Accenda and they sent me one with dents and scuffs that had clearly been used. They also sent it without all its parts, they seemed to have "lost" the burn cup which rendered the fireplace useless.

As far as the Nu-flame product goes I have no idea how well it works. It is bigger than I expected, which is good I suppose, but who knows how much heat or light it puts out BECAUSE I CANT LIGHT IT WITHOUT A BURNING CUP!

Muskoka® Onyx Series Matte Black Fireplace Screen

Customer Ratings:
List Price: $69.99
Sale Price: $69.00
Today's Bonus:

Perfect purchase for me. Size descriptions are not exact. When screen is standing properly and balanced, the measurement of the rear width is 30" 30 1/2". Bought this little screen to insert into the brick frame, in front of the metal firebox insert, to keep my wild dog from slamming into the fireplace and toys out.

Pros--

*Light weight, easy to move around yet sturdy enough to keep my big dog out.

*Compact. For off season use, unfold completely. It stays flush with the firebox and looks like it belongs. Unobtrusive.

*Plain. I could see the my natural gas vented logs and glowing embers.

*You can face it the opposite way to make it wider, if you don't mind that it looks backwards.

*Versatile use: I just bought a space heater and used this little screen in front of it to keep dog safe.

Cons--

*I bought this used from Amazon Marketplace seller who advertised, "Like new, just opened box." It came with the mesh slightly dented. For $32, it was worth it.

*Measurements are imprecise because the balance will be off if not standing properly. 20 1/2" side panels are shorter than middle.

This product arrived as described, but m fireplace is 37 inches across it was just too small. This is a simple black screen, nothing fancy here.

This screen looks better in person than it does in the picture. From the picture I was afraid it looked a bit grayish but it is definitely coal-black. It seems very sturdy and I love that it folds up flat so you can easily hide it away when you don't need it. The front of our old wood burning stove is shorter than most fireplaces so it was hard to find a screen that was the right size most of them were way too tall. This one is perfect!

This is a very well built and good looking screen. It is a very simple, unobtrusive contemporary design that would go with any decor. I really like how it added a classy finishing touch to my living room remodel.
