When the description of the thermostat says that it can be programmed for "every day of the week," that does not mean than there can be a separate cooling and heating program for each day of the week. The thermostat can be programmed so that there are separate heating and cooling programs for weekdays (MTWThF) and others for weekends (SaSu). The weekday heating or cooling program must have 4 settings for a 24 hour period and similarly for weekends. For example for either heating or cooling, it can be set for one temperature from 6 AM to 8 AM, another for 8 AM to 5 PM, another from 5 PM to 10 PM, and a fourth from 10 PM to 6 AM. The times at which it switches temperatures can be adjusted. I have had the Hunter 44110 for a number of years, and it basically does the job. But, once or twice a month it completely loses the day, time and program, and has to be completely re-programmed. We have 2 furnaces in our house & have an older Hunter model on one furnace & I was searching for a new Hunter for the second furnace. This is a decent thermostat. It is easy to install and fairly easy to program, but if you live in a dry climate like Albuquerque, you should think twice about getting this thermostat. It has very poor electro-static discharge (ESD) protection. I have "killed" three of them just by walking up and touching the buttons. I have two installed in my house and I like the horizontal form factor. At first it seemed easier to just buy another one to replace a dead one without having to instal a new bracket, etc. Two days ago, I killed another one and am tired of it. I will be looking for a different thermostat.

Product was not as described on Amazon. Product specification said product included a warming deck. When it arrived one was not included. Contacted seller who stated that warming deck was only on 6oz and 8oz models. After much back and forth conversation, they finally agreed to replace it with one that has a warming deck. The replacement unit is either used or refurbished.

I was shopping around for alternative method fireplaces & this is the best & cheapest one I found. Just moved into an old victorian with 3 beautiful fireplaces that have been sealed. Since I am renting & not the owner, I wanted a way to enjoy my beautiful fireplace & also get heat from it ( super expensive to run the old heating system). I had a tower ceramic heater, but that looked bad & got in the way. I looked into the gel log sets, the silly looking logs that you put candles in (too expensive to buy the gels all the time) The fireplaces made by the amish(and others like it) were way too big to fit in my small fireplace & 100's of dollars! this one has heat, a remote (battery included :D) & all you have to do is plug it in. The "flames" are made by a rolling device that emits LED light in the shape of flames. We have gas logs in our downstairs fireplace, but since we have to use propane bottles we never put gas logs upstairs. We were thinking again of actually putting them in when I came across this heater. It fits right in our fireplace, looks great and keeps our bedroom toasty and warm. It even has a thermostat, so once you set it you don't have to worry about it running constantly. As a little girl of the 70's I remember watching the Christmas specials with the snow falling outside and everyone sitting in front of the fireplace singing Christmas carols by a roaring fire, hot chocolate in hand, Christmas stockings hanging from the mantle and the Christmas tree twinkling in the background but reality is that I am a Florida native and our Christmases here are usually very balmy so a fireplace is just out of place here. Nevertheless I have always wanted a fireplace that I could decorate for the holidays just like in all of those Christmas specials I watched as a child but I live in a rental home so building a real fireplace is out of the question so what was I to do? I chose to build a faux fireplace and just light it with some white Christmas lights or some other type of lights to give the illusion of a fire but without the right kind of light effect AND heat (who can have a fire without heat?!)it just wasn't what my heart yearned for so I kept searching for a more realistic effect until I came across a REAL fireplace with a electric fireplace insert from KW and even better it had heat. I was so excited about my find but I am a very choosy person when purchasing something I can't actually touch and examine so it took me 2 weeks to finally decide on which electric fireplace insert I wanted AND then make the jump to purchasing it so after 2 weeks and looking at pictures of every electric fireplace insert I could find online I finally chose the one with the most realistic effect and with heat. I am thrilled with my KW electric log set w/heater! Right now it is set up in my living room awaiting it's mantle(hubby isn't quite motivated lol) but even right out of the box this electric log set is beautiful and so easy to use. Just plug it in and turn it on. The remote is very simple to use with only 3 buttons, one for power, one for flame effect and one for heat and even better you can turn the heat off and just use the flame effect which I do every night! The only thing I wish it had is sound effects but I still love, love, love, my "fireplace" and I can't wait to get it all decorated for Christmas this year. First off this heater is a novelty item. If you put it in the fireplace the internal thermostat shuts it off when the fireplace gets to the temperature. You have to pull out the fireplace to get it to warm up the room which looks silly with a fake stack of wood in your living room. Lastly and most importantly the plug has started to melt. The cord/plug gets too hot to touch. I am leaving this review from a mobile device so unable to post the picture of the plug(will do so at a later time). Save your money get a "safe" space heater and as for your fireplace amazon has nice decorative candle holders or gel fuel logs.

This is certainly not the easiest item to assemble so you should be prepared to read pictured diagrams (not written) and also to spend 2+ hours on assembly. Having said that, the unit is great. Well built, sturdy and manufactured well. Compared to other unit pricing, it is a great value. I would recomment this unit highly. I am so glad that I read the reviews before purchasing this item. Reviewers were very accurate in their description of the pit and the assembly it would require but in the end IT'S WORTH IT! Please, Uniflame, read these reviews and get your hardware correct! They send enough screws but more A screws than B screws so after I used up all of the B screws, I just used the A screws (I hope that makes sense). All in all, it took a few hours to put together. My 13 year old who is very good at putting together Ikea furniture was a great help. There was no extra payment from the freight company and delivery was no problem, it arrived in about 1 1/2 week in a neatly packed box. Looks great! The flame on this fire table has a lot of soot relative to other fire pits/tables with an appropriate air mixture. There is not enough oxygen added to the propane because the air mixer sucks. Soot gets all over the logs, rocks and my patio furniture. I gutted the burner, had a 12 inch burner with air mixer, and glass installed and now it's great.

I bought this immersion heater to take with me into the hospital. I was having radioactive iodine treatment for thyroid cancer. I knew I'd be able-bodied, but bored, under orders to drink lots of fluids, and seeing very little of the nurses, as they do these treatments in special isolation rooms. It was such a good thing to be able to have a cup of hot herbal tea, or some cocoa, whenever I wanted, just as I would at home. The immersion heater worked perfectly. The key is to remember that you must never plug the heater in until the coil is immersed in your cup, and never remove the coil from your cup until you unplug it. The heater boils water so fast, you really do need to watch ita watched pot may never boil, but a forgotten immersion heater would boil your cup dry very quickly. I had to put my heater away in a box with the books I read in the hospital, as they scanned my stuff with a Geiger counter when my treatment was over, and it read "hot". Everything will be safe to use again after a month, and I will be glad to have the heater to use when we travel.
